Welcome to RightCall’s web-based reporting portal. WorkSafe is committed to ensuring all forms of misconduct within, by or against the organisation are identified early and dealt with quickly and appropriately. RightCall has therefore been engaged to provide a multi-channel independent external reporting service in addition to the internal reporting avenues available to the WorkSafe workforce and in addition to public interest disclosure options outlined below.
RightCall empowers employees to report confirmed or suspected misconduct directly to an independent third party. RightCall will pass-on to WorkSafe all information you provide about suspected misconduct. There is no attempt to validate the information prior to passing it on. RightCall is your direct channel of communication to WorkSafe on misconduct matters.
The short answer is ‘no’. The Public Interest Disclosure Act provides that a disclosure can only be treated as a Public Interest Disclosure if it is made:
WorkSafe is not authorised to appoint a Public Interest Disclosure Officer and so the only option for a WorkSafe employee wishing to make a Public Interest Disclosure is to make their report directly to IBAC by one of the following reporting channels:
If you require more information about making a public interest disclosure, refer to https://www.ibac.vic.gov.au/public-interest-disclosure
If you do not seek protection and you would like to make a report to WorkSafe through RightCall, you may use the following online reporting form or you can use one of the alternative RightCall reporting avenues detailed above.
The information you provide in the data input form on this page will be encrypted and held securely by RightCall. Initially, upon submission, the information will only be accessible to RightCall.
RightCall will review the information you provide and, where required and where possible, may contact you to clarify some of the matters you have raised. RightCall will not seek to validate any of the information you provide. RightCall will prepare a report which will be provided to WorkSafe within one business day of the time you submit your report.
Once you have entered the information you would like to provide in the form click ‘submit’ at the end to send the report to RightCall.
