Workplace Injury Commission RightCall Online Misconduct Reporting

Welcome to RightCall’s web-based reporting portal.

The Workplace Injury Commission ‘WIC’ is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and accountable workplace culture where employees feel empowered to raise concerns and share experiences.

To support this commitment, WIC has engaged RightCall to provide an independent, confidential, multi-channel reporting service that complements the internal reporting pathways available to employees.

RightCall offers an alternative reporting option for employees who may not feel comfortable using internal channels. Reports submitted through RightCall are provided directly to WIC for review and assessment and may help WIC identify emerging risks, recurring issues, workplace trends, and opportunities for improvement.

While every report is considered, not every matter will result in a formal investigation. Information received may also be used to inform broader organisational insights and improvements.

How does it work?

RightCall provides employees with an independent and confidential avenue to report actual or suspected misconduct, inappropriate behaviour, workplace concerns, or other matters of interest.

All information received by RightCall is forwarded to WIC for review and assessment. RightCall does not undertake any validation or investigation of the information prior to passing it on.

RightCall acts as an independent reporting channel, helping employees raise concerns safely and confidentially, particularly where they may not feel comfortable using internal reporting options.

Can I use RightCall to make a public interest disclosure?

The short answer is ‘no’. The Public Interest Disclosures Act provides that a disclosure can only be treated as a Public Interest Disclosure if it is made:

  • To a ‘Public Interest Disclosure Officer’ within the public sector agency concerned (where that agency is authorised to appoint a Public Interest Disclosure Officer); or
  • To the Independent Broad-Based Anti-Corruption Commission (IBAC).

WIC is not authorised to appoint a Public Interest Disclosure Officer and so the only option for a WIC employee wishing to make a Public Interest Disclosure is to make their report directly to IBAC by one of the following reporting channels:

If you require more information about making a public interest disclosure, refer to https://www.ibac.vic.gov.au/public-interest-disclosure

If you do not seek protection and you would like to make a report to WIC through RightCall, you may use the following online reporting form or you can use one of the alternative RightCall reporting avenues detailed above.

What happens to the information I provide to RightCall?

The information you provide in the data input form on this page will be encrypted and held securely by RightCall.   Initially, upon submission, the information will only be accessible to RightCall.

RightCall will review the information you provide and, where required and where possible, may contact you to clarify some of the matters you have raised.   RightCall will not seek to validate any of the information you provide.   RightCall will prepare a report which will be provided to WIC within one business day of the time you submit your report.

Once you have entered the information you would like to provide in the form click ‘submit’ at the end to send the report to RightCall.
